One Walk Tallahassee Day-Of Details

JDRF One Walk Tallahassee Day-Of Details:
DATE: Saturday, April 6th (Rain or Shine)

TIME: Check-in/Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. / Walk Starts at 9:00 a.m.
Arrive early to turn in money at Registration, take part in aerobic warm ups, and enjoy a light breakfast! There will be lunch from Moe’s, music, and fun for the family following the Walk (including bounce houses, face painting and games for the kids).

Location: Genesis Church, located at 4070 Mission Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303
If you or a loved one have T1D, it’s always a good idea to bring diabetes supplies with you during the Walk. However, if you are experiencing a low blood sugar along the route, you can ask for a juice at water stations. You can visit First Aid if needed.
Pet Care: There will be a Pet Pit Stop with water and treats for your dog. In consideration of other guests, if bringing a dog, please keep them on a leash and be prepared to clean up after your pet along the route or at the Walk Site.

Turning in Money on Walk Day: On Walk day, check-in/registration will open at 8:00 a.m. This is where you will go if you have any money to turn in, have not yet registered, or need to pick up a JDRF t-shirt ticket if you’ve raised $100 or more. (T-shirt tickets may be redeemed at the t-shirt tent) Check-in/registration will be located directly in front of the church and will be marked with signs. Please make sure to turn in all monies BEFORE Walk starts. Registration will close when the walk starts.
On Walk day it’s very important that envelopes at registration are filled out completely. This will ensure the proper Walker is credited and the money collected counts to your team. Data provided on the envelope will be critical for the data processing center that will be entering your donations onto your walker pages.
